I see myself as a well grown man, Age 24. My parents brought me up very well. Although father’s salary hasn’t been the best, they have never compromised on my education, health and my needs. And i love them for all they are and i thank god for that.

So is money a driving force? not really! I earn a salary of 25-30 thousand every month, 15k goes to dad for building the house(LOAN). and the rest is for me. I live in a police quarters,so no rent issues!  got a Honda Activa which i bought 3 months ago.

I dream of big house, big cars, taking vacations… But somehow, that is not a strong enough to drive me.

However what i really wanted very badly was recognition!

Its been the story of my life till i joined the Amway+ BWW business.

Looking back how i was at school, college and in my company, one thing that stands out is that i was always seen as an insignificant individual.

Schooling @ Delhi was an amazing experience. However when i reached bangalore, everything changed!

I remember feeling a kind of void @ Kendriya vidyalaya Malleshwaram surrounded by classmates, but no one to call my true friend. Obviously they are not there in my contact list.

So i reach college @ sheshadripuram to continue my 11th & 12th. And suddenly everyone says, study hard and get a good college after 12th.

So i started to be friend with the most geek kind of students! Kiran, sandesh, sounder, shashank. I remember taking that sheet out drawing out rows and columns, to list the names of the most brilliant students and writing their marks against their name. I still remember, that sense of insignificance to see my name not in the top 3.

Well 11th and 12th was finally over, cleared the exam with 97% in P.C.M.B.

It was time to choose an engineering college. and i felt the college chose me based on my ranking.

So i entered one of the finest colleges in bangalore: Bangalore Institute of Technology. 4 years of Engineering studies.

I could see the excitement on my face to be in that college, My 1st semester, attending all classes, completing all the lab records on time, recieiving the appreciation from lecturers.

However, somehow that void of appreciation, the desire to be the center of attraction was  just unbearable. I was a little dark, and that didn’t help.

For the first time, i wanted to have a girlfriend. I guess every teenager goes through this phase!

4 years gone by, 8 semsters done, and all that remain is crush on the beautiful girls around! I have almost forgotten their names now!

And now its 2011, 2 years in the IT industry, working in shifts.Today a professional has no time for himself. I work for close to 9-10 hrs everyday, travelling takes 2-3 hrs everyday! I reach home tired, watch TV, eat something just to fill up my stomach and sleep to get up again to follow the RUT system of the corporate till i get married to another professional.

And i would have carried the same desperation, had i not seen this amazing business: Amway!

I have found some amazing people along the way! Abhishek, Bilal & Nuzath, Anand & Janhavi, Babu & Sonika, Sam & Minati, Ankur & Taru Gupta and the amazing BWW system.

I am thankful to god to provide this business opportunity, because this is where i feel like a million bucks!

Everybody is fired up and wants to grow and always say:

“if i can do it, you can too! You are a diamond! You are a leader! You will have organizations across the world”

And i want to share this very special day 2nd July 2011. Its been 1 year 4 months in this business. Had a roller coaster ride of emotions.

We all had assembled in st john’s Auditorium. Brand new Eagles, platinums and brand new Emerald Manoj & priya to be recognized.

I need to be there @7:30 PM.

However i decided to close my eyes for a while after coming back from office @ 5:30 PM. Opened my eyes @7:30 PM. So left my house @ 8 PM exact only to reach the auditorium at 8:45PM.

This was a special day as Ankur & kirti had qualified as brand new Eagles. Well i wasn’t! This made my stomach churn!

As i entered the hall, two of the brand new platinum’s were already talking. I had missed my downline’s recognition!

Well the function ended with a bang with the entire hall erupting in claps, and hooting and whistling, after the Manoj & Priya’s Emerald recognition was complete.

And right there as i was leaving the hall with Ankur & kirti and Abhishek, Ravkiran(platinum) comes and gives a hi-fi to ankur in front of me! I know Ravi back when he was in platinum qualification! Ankur has been in the business for  4-5 months! Its almost like he neglected me!

And that brought my memories of school, college and my IT job. That sense was negligence, sense of ignorance and treatment of being insignificance came back gushing into my body! It was absolutely unbearable!

And right there, almost instantly, that hidden champion just came out crashing the defeated wall that was created inside myself.

I was looking straight anymore! I was looking and observing inside of me! That champion stood and roared for the first time and brought down the strong Mr defeat, that i had sown and watered and nurtured all along the way!

I knew instantly, There was no more doubt, no more ego! The champion strongest self stood beside me,smiling at me, saying: Don’t worry! I am back. You are not alone in this fight! I shall fight beside you! From now on there is no looking back!

3 more days to go! Eagleship is already done with 20 IBO’s sitting in every britt function, 10 SOP’s and BOM already done in all the 3 core legs!

We shall be silver in December 2011, starting platinum  qualification!

Like Manoj & Priya said: 50-60 years from now, i will be done and dusted! However the only difference between me and my colleagues/friends is that

“I would have lived” !!!

Thanks you God for showing me the way tonight! You truly are a genius!

I truly believe in you, because with GOD, everything is possible !!

Hmmm….. I am a die hard fan of action movies. Love watching English flicks. “Alpha whisky 13 to base, we got mortar shells on ant hill. Need back up and air support ASAP”. or i wud be mumbling, “Incoming!! Take cover”. Or sometimes i wud imagine myself flying a F22 jet fighting over Pak or China and about 10 enemy planes chasing me. I maneuver my plane and destroy each of them. But my plane is hit, so i eject and land with a thud on solid ground.

I love watching F1, for the awesome speed, the cutting edge technology used in formula 1 cars. So i dream of sitting in its cockpit, watching the 5 lights illuminate and off i go!! I push some sort of magic button and scorch thru all the drivers. Pit lane conversations are amazing.”Need on prime, need less downforce front wing and 23 laps of fuel”

13th JULY 2009, 7:00AM, Majestic Bus stop, A Volvo bearing a sticker which clearly said:”New joinee Shuttle”. That wasn’t just a bus to me. To me it was a alien space ship, which wud take me to whole new galaxy.It was time to step into the shoes of a professional. Bus roared into action, and a awkward smile crossed my face. It was funny how i looked, dressed in complete formal uniform. The shuttle reached Madivala and turned left, stopping once again. The bus which was empty started to fill up fast. I was seated in a 3 seater near the window, and the next moment i skipped a heart beat. Was she an angel? or was i dreaming? A beautiful,cute girl came and sat next to me. Eye-contact….and all smiles!! I took charge!! and quickly got into a conversation with her. It took more 10 min to reach the EC office.  Saying goodbye to the angel, i joined my college group. And so it began…TRAINING FOR JAVA Domain.

2 months are now over since that day. I have gone thru all the highs and lows of this amazing life. From focusing in class, getting caught while playing games and flirting with girls, to Clearing two important Assessment exams, Its been truly a great jolly ride. The campus is simply amazing!! Lots of greenery all around.

Well the reality is, now that training is over, we await allocation to different Business units. when that happens, we all will split up and move into different project locations. But one thing is certain,wherever i be, i will never stop singing>> “Those were the best days of my life”!!!

Now during these 2 months, before i joined cranes for training, I wrote an exam called PH test conducted by a company called E-litmus. I scored a high Percentile, through which i have got 3 interview calls till date. First was some startup company,but the next two were very good -McAfee & National Instruments. I couldnt clear the interview at McAfee. But i was determined to make it to my dream company-NI. The current status after i gave my interview at NI on 13th oct, is that i have been shortlisted for the last round, but i still got no info on when that next round be.

Well in the mean time i am keeping myself engaged with my training. I have to say, I am really enjoying my time here. The training is of very high standard. One month of training is over, with C & Embedded system module completed.  I will have to leave the course in the middle though, if i get a call from NI, which is expected to be somewhere in the 2nd week of November.

Now the biggest hurdle is coming from my parents, as they are putting constant pressure on me to sit for civil service examinations i.e KAS & IAS. Truly i dont like these sort of jobs, as i am a  strict critic of the corruption involved in these offices. Although the post brings with it great powers & respect, the flipside of the coin is the discrimination in the name caste and religion. I have equal respect for all religions,& i dont believe anything of the sorts like Brahmans, Lingayats, SC-ST exist. Sometimes looking at the financial crisis that has swallowed the global economy, it gets into my head to go for the above. But the passion i have for electronics, from the moment i chose it as my engineering domain is keeping me motivated and determined to start my career with a job associated with it.

We were taught at our younger age by our teachers to read “word by word”. But is that the right way? In my opinion, certainly not…

Our mind is very powerful, which is in fact is 1000folds faster than the computer…. our eyes can have a perception of 40 million bits of information per second…….. but if our eyes are so powerful, then why are we not able to remember a small piece of information for a long period of time…..? well as i mentioned, its the “word by word” technique of reading , Which allows only 40 bits of info reach our conscious brain per second……… So is there any better way.? The answer is YES……… how about completing a subject, which used to take 3-4 months to understand & complete, to be completed in just 30-40minutes……..?. how about reading 25000 words per second… and understanding it much better….? Read on……………….

Its what is called “PHOTOREADING” which is to access the subconscious mind to read …… Photoreading is a remarkable technique which i use in everyday life… and the results r quite positive…. i don’t have to slog my text for long hours to understand the topic… instead it takes only 30 minutes to complete it. still i am not an expert……, but i am on my way towards mastery…… just yesterday i read an article on current technology used in electronics….. which roughly had 700 words…… i used my photoreading, and to my astonishment i completed it in 40 seconds…. what was even great about it was, that i understood the entire article clearly……

Today I enjoy my study…. what used to be a boring semester of education, has turned into a research and experimentation….., to access the extreme powers of my brain which i once lost in my childhood…….. i am gonna cut down my time… i am gonna have some fun….. i am gonna have my desires fulfilled……….

A major misconception that boys have is that they think, a girl likes to be in company of a handsome boy… which is 100% not true…. Instead an Indian girl likes to be more secure and at the same time desires for absolute freedom… She likes to enjoy the superiority and wants to be centre of attraction… What i meant my saying SECURE earlier is that she likes to feel comfortable with her friends…. Another secret about girls is that they too like to talk to boys, who have a good sense of humour…. and always carry a sense of respect for them.

What girls, especially in India least expect is INDECENT behavior. So if u r a boy, u better stay away from such acts or talks….. as girls can be easily offended. Girls happen to be very sensitive, very emotional human beings… So always think twice before saying something…..

NOW the real challenge lies in how to start a conversation with a girl and have her as Ur freind…. So here r few steps , with which u can really have a good conversation with a girl.

1. First make sure U r well dressed(like a gentlemen). Make sure, the girl u are about to approach is alone.

Reason- a girl always feels comfortable with someone who is wise , well dressed, in short like a gentleman..

2. Use the words like “Excuse me” to draw her attention… Show some respect… To start with, choose a girl who is in ur class…

3 . The third is very important as it sets up the tone for the conversation…” Bring a gentle smile on to ur face and and extend ur arm to shake hands…” Trust me freinds , the girl will automatically shake ur hands too…..

4. Many of us are really confused on how to start a conversation…. as i already mentioned, they likes to feel comfortable. so start asking her something about the studies to start with… And ask her something about the classes, and ask her whether she understood what the teacher explained the other day. Crack some jokes in the middle if u can… Try to divert ur conversation from studies to some other topics like “The latest movie “released, or may be ask her about her hobbies, any sport which she follows… Girls r usually talkitive in nature. so all u have to do is intialize the conversation, and then it will flow on…….. During the conversation, address her by her name… this is infact a very strong point,as it brings u closer to her in every conversation u have in future…..

5. I am sure it will work with any girl in the world……

6. After all this ,THE FINISHING ACT is also important so as to leave a good impression.. When u feel that ur conversation is breaking up, say her goodbye and again extend ur arm to shake hands and say goodbye…. bring on a gentle smile….

7 . Most important of all donot share Ur experience with Ur fellowmates…

Every time u have a coversation, u start buiding up in confidence….. and u will realise that ur earlier nagative believes would have completely vanished. Try it with girls staying in ur neighbour…
